Rules of Play

Fantasy Golf teams must be registered by 5:30pm on Tuesday 15th July 2008.

Each team must comprise four Open Championship players, ensuring that the total value of the team does not exceed £10 million. Player values are not representative of actual golfer earnings or salaries.

Players will score points based on their performance during The Open Championship 2008 (17th - 20th July) and according to the scoring system devised by Formby Hall Golf Resort & Spa.

The player that tops the Fantasy Golf leader board at the end of The Open Championship will be awarded a two-day pass for Formby Hall Golf Resort & Spa. The pass must be redeemed by 30th September 2008 and visits booked at least two weeks in advance. The prize is non-transferrable.

The winning prize includes a half-day visit to the PGA Academy, a round of golf on the 18 hole course, dinner and breakfast in the resort's restaurant and a day pass to the leisure club and spa for two people.

The winner will be provided with a custom fit FT-5 Callaway Driver.

The winner is entitled to take a friend who will receive one night's accommodation in a Formby Room.

Ten runners-up will be awarded a free day pass to the par 3 links course which must be redeemed by 30th September 2008.
