RIGBY RAINS TOP OF FG

‘Miserable’ seemed to be the word of choice among yesterday’s rain-lashed and wind swept golfers. Vijay Singh described the weather as ‘miserable, miserable, miserable,” while Craig Parry pulled even fewer punches saying it was ‘bloody miserable.’
This certainly wasn’t the case for Fantasy Golfer Mark Rigby who became the first person to top Formby Hall Golf Resort & Spa’s Fantasy Golf leader board.
The weather seems to have proved advantageous for Rigby, who is now 40 points clear at the top and in strong contention for the exclusive two-day pass to Formby Hall and a custom fit FT-5 Callaway Driver.
However, it’s still early days and there’s plenty of reason for the rest of the Fantasy Golfers to remain anything but ‘miserable’ about their chances of winning. With the weather expected to get worse over the weekend, experienced double Open champion Greg Norman is being tipped to come out on top.
